Welcome to Repast. Repast is operated by RC Studio Ventures LLC, a New York limited liability company ("RC Studio Ventures", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using our app, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.
By accessing or using Repast, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use Repast.
Repast is a nutrition tracking tool, not a medical service. The nutritional information provided — including data from USDA FoodData Central, Open Food Facts, and AI-generated estimates — is for informational purposes only and may contain inaccuracies. Do not rely on this app for medical, dietary, or health decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your diet.
Repast uses artificial intelligence for features such as nutrition estimation from photos and recipe extraction. These features provide estimates that may be inaccurate. AI-generated nutritional values should be reviewed and verified before relying on them for dietary decisions.
You retain ownership of all data you enter into Repast, including food logs, recipes, and profile information. By using the app, you grant us a limited license to process and store this data solely to provide the service to you.
You may not use Repast to:
We strive to keep Repast available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our systems.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RC Studio Ventures LLC and its members, managers, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer under the law where you live.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Repast after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of material changes through the app.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and RC Studio Ventures LLC agree that disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in the State of New York. If you are a consumer, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country where you live.
